Etihad Aviation Group (EAG) annoncerer udnævnelsen af Duncan Bureau som Senior Vice President Global Sales and Distribution, som vil rapportere direkte til koncernens Chief Commercial Officer, Robin Kamark. Rollen vil være medvirkende til at drive koncernens kommercielle strategi globalt.
Duncan Bureau, en velkendt og respekteret skikkelse i luftfartsindustrien, slutter sig til flyselskabet med mere end 25 års erfaring og har senest haft stillingen som præsident hos Air Canada Rouge, lavpris-datterselskabet af Air Canada. Før dette var han Vice President Global Sales hos Air Canada mellem 2014 og 2018, med ansvar for at generere indtægter fra alle salgssteder og verdensomspændende salgsdistributionsstrategier.
Duncan tilbragte også ti år hos det canadiske luftfartsselskab, WestJet, og steg til Vice President Sales and Airline Partnerships, og to år i Kuala Lumpur som Senior Vice President Global Sales and Distribution hos Malaysia Airlines.
Duncan vil tiltræde sin nye stilling med det samme, baseret på Etihads globale hovedkvarter i Abu Dhabi, hovedstaden i De Forenede Arabiske Emirater.
