HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Hawaii Tourism Association (HiTA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Muhammad Imran Hassan as their tourism ambassador for Saudi Arabia. Mr. Hassan is the Business Development Manager of the National Vacation Company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

“HITA membership will definitely help in creating demand to Hawaii. The last ten years have recorded excellent growth in outgoing travel from Saudi. We are keen to introduce Hawaii as a brand new tourist destination in 2012. Through a proper media campaign and with support from HITA, I am sure we can do it,” Mr. Hassan said.

The President of HiTA, Juergen T. Steinmetz, said: “ I have known Mohammad for many years and saw him and his company exhibit at trade shows in the Middle East. I am very excited HiTA can be a player to open this market for our state.”
